Boca Juniors defeated Barracas Central 2-1 in the Round of 32 of the Copa Argentina
In a hard-fought match, Boca Juniors came out victorious against Barracas Central in the Round of 32 of the Copa Argentina. The match was played on July 21, 2023, at the Estadio Único Madre de Ciudades in Santiago del Estero, Argentina.
Boca Juniors opened the scoring in the 45th minute with a goal from Cristian Medina. Miguel Merentiel doubled the lead in the 48th minute. Barracas Central pulled one back in the 64th minute with a goal from Maximiliano Puig, but it was not enough to prevent Boca Juniors from advancing to the next round.
Boca Juniors will now face Quilmes in the Round of 16 of the Copa Argentina.
